Visual Arts Internship

Sitka Fine Arts Camp, a leader in arts education, provides interdisciplinary summer programs for kids from around the US and world. Our programs including visual art, music, theater, dance, writing, and Alaska Native Arts have been recognized by both the White House and the National Endowment for the Arts for excellence and innovation in arts education and community building. Students who attend the camps come from all over Alaska as well as many other states, and the faculty consists of top-rate artist educators from all across the U.S. Students participate in five classes each day and explore areas of experience as well as try out new interests. One of the many unique features is the one-hour Artshares every evening - faculty and counselors share their passion for performance/production for the students in the newly restored Odess Theater in Allen Hall and the state-of-the-art Sitka Performing Arts Center. The final three nights of the camps are student showcases.
