Intern - Facilities Engineering / Building Science
Come GROW at Terracon within the Denver Facilities Engineering Team where you will experience exciting, fun, and meaningful projects as you work along-side a PREMIER team of Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers in a small team setting. You will not only learn and advance technically but will also be provided with opportunities for professional development. We will provide real world project and business mentoring to you in everything from daily task planning, scheduling, proposals, report writing, executing work, through the understanding of WHY we do what we do. You will have exposure to all the levels of our business from Technicians to the Principals within the company. You will be assigned a mentor who will help shape your experience but will also receive mentorship from every team member here at Terracon. Our goal with your internship is to challenge you daily to encourage your growth as a professional in our industry.
Your experiences will include learning, understanding, and performing services related to:
- Building Enclosure Consulting for new and existing buildings
- Structural and Building Forensics
- MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Consulting
- Property Condition Assessments
During the internship, you can expect to:
- Support our Façade and building envelope testing teams
- Provide assistance to other field and/or office personnel
- Support design phase drawing review, development, and analysis
- Shadow team members and participate in construction site visits and meetings
- Assists technicians or professional staff to provide an elevated service to our clients

Requirements:
High school diploma and BS degree in progress in a science or related field (architecture, engineering, construction management).
