Information Technology Intern

The Information Technology Intern will be involved in all aspects of Bloomin Brand information technology operations in a busy 10-week program of practical real-world business operations in software development, network operations, database operations, production deployment, restaurant applications, software development, sustainment, and implementation operations. The candidate will work alongside experienced information technology professionals in a variety of practical real-world conditions. 

 

·      Candidate will participate in an active Azure software development project.

·      Candidate will participate in active Brand hardware implementation project.

·      Candidate will participate in network architecture design and administration of our enterprise network.

·      Candidate will gain experience with Agile Project Management and Scrum Practices.

·      Candidate will be actively involved in production of development documentation such as product backlog items, test scenarios, validation requirements, and develop of knowledge articles.

·      Candidate will become familiar with Cloud Environments, SAAS, pull framework and active integration practices.

·      Candidate will maintain an activity journal and provide a project presentation at the end of the internship summarizing their experience.

·      Candidate should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

·      Candidate should be able to create Excel spreadsheets.

·      Candidate must be able to create Powerpoint presentations.

·      Candidate should have basic knowledge of One Note.

·      Candidate will actively participate in their 12-week schedule, based on school schedule and IT project activities.

·      Candidate will participate in biweekly group activities scheduled by HR.
