Cashier

POSITION SUMMARY: The cashier is an instrumental player in the operational function of the KITH retail experience. Our cashiers cap off the shopping experience for the customer and aim to leave a lasting impression. The KITH cashier is courteous, energetic, detail oriented and knowledgeable on KITH policies and procedures. Our cashiers’ primary goal is to provide the friendliest and most efficient in-store experience to all our customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accurately process all types of transactions through our register systems
  • Provide a best-in-class experience at the point of sale
  • Maintaining and organizing the POS area, to brand standard
  • Follow Company standards for handling of cash and credit card transactions
  • Efficiently communicate with customers, peers and Direct- Reports
  • Partner with management on the de-escalation and resolution of any customer issues
  • Follow all brand policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
  • 1-2 cash handling
  • 1-2 years in apparel is preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years with basic business math
 
Skills:
  • Comprehensive computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at once
  • Efficient communication skills
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job:
  • Standing/Walking for prolonged periods of time
  • Lifting or moving up to 30 pounds
  • Bending, twisting as well as climbing of ladders and other physical tasks related to standard retail operations
