Intern - Architect
Are you a student interested in building real-world Architect design experience? West Architecture is looking for talented and knowledgeable interns with fresh, creative ideas, REVIT knowledge and an excellent eye for detail.
Principle responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
v Assist in administrative duties if the businesses, including project accounting and organization
v Updating the architectural product library and ordering project samples
v Assist in field verification, including field measurement & record documentation
v Create construction documents and making design selections
v Product research and preparing reports such as product comparisons and project schedules
v Maintaining timely, effective and honest communications with management and clients
v Keeping and submitting to management a weekly timesheet
v Attend staff meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
v Completion of a 4 year undergraduate program in Architect
v Working knowledge of REVIT, Excel, Microsoft Word, Photoshop, Sketch-up and/or 3D AutoCAD and construction documents and specifications
v Ability to communicate effectively and develop professional relationships within a variety of discipline under multiple directives
v Personal, reliable, and honest with an entrepreneurial drive
