Digital Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

The Manager of Social Media and Online Experience is responsible for driving brand awareness and engagement for EdFed via social media, online, and mobile channels. This position serves as a lead strategist in the creation and execution of original content for EdFed’s YouTube channel (EdFedTV) and podcasts (EdFedFM), while building competitive differentiation for EdFed in managing our overall digital branding strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Social Media Producer and Online Experience team in creating original digital content (website, blogs, podcasts, and Social Media posts)
  • Elevate EdFed’s brand by creating comprehensive strategies for website enhancements, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and various outlets for digital marketing and advertising.
  • Create annual social media business plan and manage daily positing schedule across EdFed’s primary social media platforms: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Oversee continuous monitoring of social media commentary and reviews posted on websites such as Yelp and Google; Work with internal business partners to respond to member escalations with defined timelines.
  • Responsible for researching and implementing strategies to maximize current channels and make recommendations on new social media platform adoption
  • Leverage data and voice of the member input to create recommendations about digital service enhancements and technology improvements.
  • Responsible for analyzing and researching evolving trends for new digital strategy development.
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure best in class digital member experience.
  • Work together with the internal business partners to create and leverage content to drive more online connectivity with existing members and prospective members.
  • Utilize digital marketing analytics to determine performance and efficiency of campaigns, online traffic, etc.
  • Oversee monthly website audits to ensure accuracy and appropriate placement of creative assets.
  • Prepare reporting to show monthly digital engagement trends for social media and website traffic.
  • Manage annual department budget for digital advertising and content generation.
  • Represent EdFed at local promotional events, professional networking, and community venues.
  • Provide daily coaching and guidance to assigned staff and complete performance evaluations and coaching as required by business.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
 
Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination
  • 3-5 years of related experience
