Content Product Manager

The Content Product Manager leads the design, development, and launch of new content offerings and content experiences at Cornerstone. Comparable to a product manager, the Curation Manager sets a roadmap for our content offerings by analyzing market trends and client demand, then executes this roadmap with our partners and our in-house Studios team. Successful curation managers will prioritize projects that drive both business growth (as measured by new ARR) and client satisfaction (as measured by course registrations and completions, time spent learning, and Net Promoter Score). The Curation Manager role is innately cross-functional; this individual must collaborate with stakeholders across the Content business, including QA, Studios, Partnerships, Operations, Integrations, Client Success, Sales, and Marketing. They will combine systems thinking and big-picture vision setting, distilling disparate inputs into a coherent product strategy that differentiates Cornerstone in the learning content space.

The ideal candidate will be smart, entrepreneurial, and capable of evolving to serve a changing set of business needs at Cornerstone. The position will report directly to the Manager, Content Products & Curation.

In this role you will:

  • Set a rolling annual roadmap for new content and new content experiences (e.g., playlists, curricula)
  • Work closely with the Content Partnerships and Cornerstone Studios teams to align content acquisition efforts with the content roadmap
  • Work closely with the Content Quality Manager to ensure the highest-quality content and metadata is included in each subscription.
  • Gather, analyze, and leverage data on content usage and revenue by subscription, partner, and subject in order to drive the roadmap strategy
  • Engage internal stakeholders (i.e., sales, product, operations, client experience, marketing) and external stakeholders (i.e., clients, partners, prospects, analysts) to build an ever stronger understanding of the market landscape for L&D content
  • Work to globalize the content included in the Content Anytime subscriptions, particularly for European markets

You’ve got what it takes if you have:

  • 4+ years’ experience in the learning or educational content space
  • Ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders, including clients, sales people, and C-suite representatives
  • Superior attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and capacity for both analytical and creative problem-solving
  • Entrepreneurial drive and comfort working in ambiguous, always evolving environments
  • Familiarity working with large datasets and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong team player
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
