Project Coordinator - Real Estate Design and Development

Job Description:
  • Read and understand architecture and MEP drawings to provide feedback to manager 
  • Compile comments from different disciplines, summarize, and convey to various consultants/teams 
  • Perform construction site visits and develop status reports with images 
  • Create PowerPoint presentations on an ad-hoc basis 
  • Create summarizing reports for potential asset acquisitions. (Tour buildings, catalog amenities, demographics, take photos, describe surroundings, etc.)
  • Communicate with architects, engineers, contractors, etc. on a regular basis to provide ownership feedback 
  • Basic understanding of Excel and proformas 
  • Maintain and orderly catalog company files 

Skills:
  • English (Spanish a plus)
  • MS Office Suite 
  • AutoCAD (desired, but not necessary)
  • Photoshop (desired, but not necessary)
  • Adobe Reader (desired, but not necessary)
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Positive attitude and overall work outlook 

Previous experience:
  • 1 - 3 years of experience preferred in architecture, engineering, construction, real estate or related field. 

Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Real Estate or related program is strongly preferred 
  • Partial credit or completion of a Real Estate certificate is a plus

Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation is required to travel throughout South Florida on a regular basis
  • This position is required to be in office or on the project site(s) five days per week
