This is an IN-PERSON, full-time position at Lavner Education’s office located in Seattle, WA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Research, develop, review, and enhance content, curricula, tutorials, and hands-on activities for tech camps and other programs
  • Become proficient in all technology used in camp and year-round programs
  • Ensure hardware and software are set up and tested to execute programs at the highest level
  • Provide remote and in-person support to team members to assure optimal delivery of our programs
  • Instruct year-round programs and one-on-one online tutoring in tech subjects, as needed
  • Enhance, organize, and sort inventory kits, as needed
  • Innovate with different types of technologies and processes on a daily basis
  • Provide daily updates on office projects using video conferencing and digital messaging tools
  • Engage in high-level communication with both remote and in-person staff regularly
  • Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and wear different hats, as needed
  • Comfortable with opening, locking, and securing the office with provided keys
  • Help recruit/interview potential instructors for programs

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong background in Coding (Scratch, Python, Java) and gaming popular with youth such as Minecraft and Roblox
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience working with children a plus
  • Background in robotics and digital innovation a plus
  • Inclusive, professional, upbeat, and positive attitude
  • Strong work ethic, passion for quality, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet all deadlines
  • Deep appreciation for teamwork, detail-oriented, and drive to be part of a mission-driven team
  • Clearance of all required background checks
  • Passionate about working in EdTech and sharing new ideas
  • Fully vaccinated
