Creative Arts Director - Summer 2022

Overview: The Art Director is responsible for developing curriculum, facilitating and overseeing all art programs including: general crafts, fine arts, painting and jewelry.

Responsibilities: Work closely with the camp director to plan summer curriculum and purchase supplies. This person also manages a team of 4-6 other art staff in planning with and evaluating the art staff performance throughout the summer.

Qualifications: Art Teacher or Art Education major preferred. Must have completed at least two years of college/university in the arts field. Knowledge and experience of all art programs and equipment (including a kiln) listed is preferred. Experience teaching art to children also preferred.

Dates: June 16th - August 12th

Salary: Competitive salary beginning at $5000 + travel reimbursement. Housing & food are included.

Internships: We will work with your college/university to earn paid internship credits. Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.
