Designer
Direct Responsibilities
Read and understand Architectural Plan Sets and MEPs.
Work from Estimate Take offs, Detail Sheet to fully understand the project scope of work
Gather latest documentation required before starting the Design process.
Create project folder as required by the Design Department Standard.
Design casework following bid documents and project’s Architectural Plan Set, appliance package, etc.
Communicate with estimators and Sales manager when discrepancies are found between architectural and bid files.
Work with Adobe Acrobat to prepare submittal package following design department standards.
Write comprehensive email to sales managers, estimators, PCs, Design Supervisor when further coordination is needed prior execution changes to shop drawings. Request for Sales Manager approval for all changes done to shop drawings.
Provide concise recaps for all changes done to casework once revisions are made to shops drawings.
Meet Deadlines as outlined by your sales manager / weekly design report.

Experience Requirement
3 years in project designing or drafting (cabinetry preferred)
Educational Requirement
High School Diploma
