Our interns work between 20 and 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
We are committed to a hybrid and flexible working environment, and there may be days that you wish to work from home and days that we come together so that you get to explore more of our culture and meet other colleagues. You will be provided with a company laptop so that you are able to work from home and in the office easily.
How do I apply?
As part of our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, we are piloting blind recruiting processes for our fall intern program, meaning that all applications are anonymous at screening stage. While you will be asked to upload your resume to the job posting, we will be keeping these separate from our initial recruiting process and ask you to answer the below behavioral interview questions in writing to apply for the program. We will be reviewing, and shortlisting candidates based on these answers, and not on resumes, which will be viewed only at first stage interview.
We advise you to write your answers in Word initially and to cut and paste them into our application form (which you can find by clicking apply to this posting).
- What is your approach to working on several projects simultaneously? How do you address competing priorities or deadlines? (250 words maximum)
- Describe a time you were given a project and the assignment was completely new to you and something that you had never done before. How did you tackle it? (250 words maximum)
- What is your biggest achievement to date? What results that you produced are you most proud of? (Achievements can cover projects you undertook during your education, your personal time or your career). (250 words maximum)
- Think of a recent public health campaign -- explain why you thought it was effective or not? (500 words maximum)
When is the closing date for applications?
**The fall internship application window has been extended through Monday, August 1st at 9:00AM EST.**
When does the internship commence?
Our intern program begins on Monday September 12th and typically runs until the end of the fall semester.
What happens once I have applied?
We will review all applications once the closing date has arrived and will reach out to all candidates, whether successful or not. First stage interviews will take place from August 8th.
Will I secure a job when the program ends?
While we cannot guarantee a permanent job at the end of the internship, there is the possibility that there will be opportunities after the program, and we will ensure you are made aware of these as you progress through your time with us.
We have a strong track record of converting colleagues from part-time/short-term roles to permanent opportunities.
