Landscape Architect Designer - Charlotte, NC

Our Charlotte office is looking for a Landscape Architect Designer to join our dynamic team! This position will work within close supervision by a Project Landscape Architect, Project Engineer, and Project Manager. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Complete design sketches, presentation drawings, working drawings, diagrams, schedules, and other computer-generated or hand-drawn documents as required by all phases of a project.
  • Assist with preparation of site development drawings and have a good understanding of site planning and engineering concepts.
  • Assist with assembly of Construction Documents for land development.
  • Design elements/components of a project and demonstrate awareness of other elements in their design related to the whole project.
  • Collect and integrate cost data for use in preparing cost estimates.
  • Assemble and write competent draft report sections and records of conversation.
  • Assist in permitting, bidding, construction administration activities and processes.
  • Collaborate with others in a team environment relating to a variety of challenging planning and design projects.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of software appropriate for the discipline, showing proficiency in multiple programs specific to this role including AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and Sketch-Up.
  • Demonstrate time management skills, graphic skills, and creativity and good design judgement.
