Full-time Residence Supervisor for a Ballet Boarding School

Residence Supervisor
The HARID Conservatory is a privately funded, residential high school for gifted young dancers, located in Boca Raton, Florida. Students are recruited from across the United States and from other countries through a stringent audition process. All students live on campus in Russo Hall.
The successful candidate shall be employed on a full-time basis, starting immediately, through the end of May. His or her duties and responsibilities shall include:
 Residing in Russo Hall on a full-time basis, with the exception of scheduled days off and holiday periods when the residence hall is officially closed.
 Effectively carrying out the various administrative and operational tasks and procedures established to promote the safety and security of the students and the efficient operation of the residence hall.
 Supervising and caring for the students in the residence hall and, as required, during cultural field trips and recreational outings.
 Providing the students with local transportation (in HARID’s school bus and vans).
 Participation in the planning and execution of residence-hall programs and activities.
 Enforcing the policies, procedures, rules, and expectations established to govern student conduct.
Remuneration and benefits provided by HARID include:
 An academic year (10 months) contract salary starting at $26,350 plus a $1,000 bonus, prorated in accordance with the employee’s start date;
 Health and dental insurance coverage;
 Accommodations consisting of an air-conditioned, single-occupancy residence hall room, including electricity, water, and basic TV-cable service;
 The option of having breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as served by HARID's food service provider, on each day the students are in residence.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree (or higher), experience in residence-life leadership, and an active and healthy lifestyle. (A criminal background check is required of all new employees.)
