Lutron is hiring recent college graduates to support our Commercial Project Business. This position starts with a one-year rotational onboarding experience that will introduce you to concepts of construction management. This includes reading and creating construction drawings, estimating, working within construction project management, and commissioning systems in the field. Our goal is to find creative, detail-oriented people who want to design and manage commercial projects. We want people who enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative environment that provides opportunities to try many different roles.

What you’re going to do:
· Participate in a 12-month rotational experience consisting of classroom, online, and on the job training in both field jobsite and office settings
· Learn the construction process: design, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and owner turnover
· Develop skills in reading construction drawings, creating designs, and programming systems
· Communicate with architects, engineers, contractors, and Lutron sales team members to support Lutron’s business goals
· Build personal relationships with senior leadership in Lutron’s Commercial Project business
· Complete training and join one of our commercial projects and service teams
Rotations:
· Specification Services (Pre-sales): Create preliminary designs for domestic and international new construction projects.
· Estimating Lighting Controls (Pre-sales): Strategically price lighting control projects and create bid documents to win jobs.
· Estimating Automated Shades (Pre-sales): Strategically price automated shading projects and create bid documents to win jobs.
· Commercial Project Management (Post-sales): Work alongside experienced project managers to better understand the commercial job process.
· Field Service (Post-sales): Travel to commercial job sites to program lighting and shading systems. Work involves climbing ladders, working in unfinished construction conditions, and walking and standing for long periods of time. Overnight travel is required.

Qualifications:
· 4-year degree (BA or BS) in a technical area of study such as Architecture, Architecture Engineering, Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
· Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
· 0-3 years of professional working experience
