Number of Hours (per week):  20 – 40 Flexible Hours; Hybrid workspace (Remote/Home)
 
Required Skills & Minimum Education
Currently enrolled in bachelors’ program for journalism, communications, multimedia or associated field or graphic design program
 
Practicum Description:
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated marketing/social media/journalist intern to join our internal Social Media department. If you’re a creative and ambitious individual who wants to build a career in social media, then we want to work with you.
In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities. The successful candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of Social Media marketing techniques and social media platforms, as well as creative suite capabilities.
 
Practicum Goals & Learning Objectives
1.     Increase engagement on our Platform
2.     Analyze user interactions and obtain feedback on how to improve it
3.     Post on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
4.     Report analytics to gauge the success of campaigns
5.     Curate and create content for our platforms.
6.     Learn Marketing and social media marketing from experts
7.     Training sessions on our social media strategy and Branding from the Social Media Manager in our org
8.     Opportunity to interact, educate, engage, and communicate with our community.

Practicum Deliverables:
·        Monthly reporting
·        Final presentation on internship experience
