Engineering Rotational Program 2023 – Various Locations

Opportunity Summary:  As an Early Career Associate you are responsible for providing technical expertise and support for various departments of the organization.

How you will impact WestRock:
  • The two-year program consists of a series of rotations designed to explore different engineering functions and aspects of the paper and packaging industry
  • Rotations are selected based on business need and can be anywhere within the United States
  • This role as a Process, Production or Project engineer has multiple responsibilities including continually exploring opportunities to optimize production, improve quality, and reduce cost.
  • The ECD Rotational Associate may also support projects in Supply Chain and Logistics, Sustainability, Safety, R&D, and/or special assignments

What you need to succeed:
Education:
  •  Required: Bachelor’s degree in Pulp Paper, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Safety Engineering
  •  Preferred: Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA
Experience:
  • Required: Prior experience in Operations, Paper Manufacturing, or a related field
Technical Skills:
  • Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook
  •  Working knowledge of maintenance techniques and equipment (i.e. pumps, valves, motors, gear boxes)
