Facilities Process Systems Engineering Intern - Mechanical/Chemical

As a Mechanical or Chemical Process Systems Engineering Intern in the Facilities organization at TI, you will be assigned meaningful projects that are challenging, rewarding and beneficial to the organization. The projects focus on cost and energy reduction, plant and process safety improvements, reliability improvement and system design. You will be integrated into the team and supported by engineers, technicians, operators and management as you work through these meaningful projects. About the Job
As a Mechanical Engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to work on issues related to thermodynamics, heat transfer, gas and fluid mechanics, process control, and psychometric processes. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting projects related to HVAC, cleanroom, compressed air, cooling water or process exhaust systems for our semi-conductor manufacturing operations. As a Chemical Engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to work on issues related to the generation, storage or delivery of over 50 varieties of chemicals and gasses. You might also focus on ultrapure water generation or industrial waste water treatment and reuse. Minimum Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelors or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA
