Collaborating to ensure success, our team builds long-term relationships with progressive and visionary clients.
Our design approach has fostered deep relationships with amazing clients in Fort Lauderdale, and we are looking to grow our Florida office. This unique position will collaborate with our Milwaukee office on other projects across the country as well.
As an Interior Designer | FF&E Designer
You have limitless passion to create stunning spaces and express your design ideas. Well qualified candidates should have strong design skills, sound technical knowledge, and a passion for working closely with clients, manufacturers, suppliers and installers. Ideal candidates will have experience in all phases of interior design and South Florida FF&E sourcing/selection experience.
What We Look For:
• Bachelor of Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree
• At least one to three years of post-graduate professional experience
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with clients / consultants / contractors and team members
• Understanding of architectural technology and production documentation for projects of various sizes and complexities
• Strong management and mentorship skills
• Understanding of basic code / regulatory requirements
• Basic understanding of project fee structures and staff management is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Programs
• Knowledge of other modeling and rendering programs (SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Lumion, etc.) required
• Strong design and visualization skills
• Prior experience on all phases of a project, including Construction Documentation and Construction Administration
• Experience in FF&E procurement & manufacturer relationship building
• Strive to push boundaries and develop innovative design solutions
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks, collaborate on large teams and work well under deadlines
• Registered or pursuing registration preferred
