Come grow with us! Weiland Design Group, Inc is a small, vibrant, and well-established landscape architecture firm in Temecula, California. We specialize in Home Builder Development, Commercial / Industrial / Hospitality and High-End Residential projects throughout California. We are currently seeking a full-time, in studio candidate who is motivated, creative, and energetic to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
Landscape Architect / Project Manager will work directly with other Project Managers to prepare and produce various client plans. The position involves a variety of responsibilities including site design, design team leadership and support, construction management, materials research, consultant and client coordination, project support, preparing schematic and construction level drawings, that include hardscape, planting design, irrigation design and graphic production. This position requires fluency in AutoCAD drafting, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Google Earth/Maps and Microsoft Office. A strong proficiency in hand / computer graphic and rendering (including SketchUp / Illustrator) is a plus.
Additional Skills/Qualifications include:
•BS/BA or BLA in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University
•Licensed Landscape Architect or working towards licensure
•Experience with managing projects, clients, project teams, and public speaking/presentation
•Motivated, with a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, desire to mentor
•Ability to work independently and as a team leader
•Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills
•Strong ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills
