Architectural Multidisciplinary Designer

Company Description and Job Intro:
Future Vision Studios is a multidisciplinary design-focused firm seeking an Architectural Designer. We approach projects with a comprehensive research-based outlook to find solutions that can address many needs simultaneously. We design across many scales. As an Architectural Project Designer, you will work on a variety of Architecture projects, including single-family, multi-family, mixed-use, office, and hospitality. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplined team and be an integral part of rewarding and impactful projects across Miami.

The position is hybrid, with in-person requirements in Downtown Miami and flexibility to work outside the office.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the team leader to draft initial concepts
- Design and edit 3D models in SketchUp
- Create, edit, and complete 2D Architectural drawings, diagrams, & illustrations
- Review, interpret and apply the Zoning Code & Building Codes
- Research and incorporate sustainability and artistic elements into projects
- Create and edit presentations
- Video editing in Adobe Premier Pro

Requirements, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- Additional degree, certificate, or experience in zoning analysis, urban planning, urban design, landscape design, mobility planning, or adaptation & mitigation of climate change is a plus.
- Proficient in SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro, AutoCAD, and Excel
- Strong ability to apply design principles to solve challenges
- Enthusiastic about learning and creative in applying techniques and skills across disciplines
- Ability to conceptualize and complete detailed and compelling diagrams, renderings, graphics, and illustrations
- Significant attention to detail and constantly seeks excellence in their output
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Multi-disciplinary thinker, analytical approach, working across various scales – from the big picture to the smallest details
- Ability to understand applicable codes and apply them to projects
- Must have advanced communication skills, including fluency in English (oral and written).
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, effectively, and meet firm deadlines
- Authorization to work in the United States
