FleishmanHillard Sacramento is looking for a passionate, innovative, creative intern, with strong design aesthetics who is eager to work with some of the very best public relations professionals in the industry on a variety of accounts with a focus on food, beverage and agribusiness. Our ideal candidate will join in a hybrid model of working in-person and remote full-time 40 hours per week starting in Fall 2022 or Winter 2023.
We depend on our interns heavily. As a fully integrated member of the team, you’ll get involved in the early stages of some of our most exciting and challenging projects and have the opportunity to work on a variety of creative projects including branding, social content design, websites, print materials. Bonus if you’re interested in contributing to our video/motion graphics design needs.

Qualifications
- Available to start in Fall 2022 or Winter 2023, full-time Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week working Pacific Time hours, for six months minimum. The ability to work in-person and remote.
- Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, mass media, digital media, public relations, advertising, or a related field.
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) is required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required.
- Knowledge about design fundamentals and principles.
- Is a creative thinker, problem solver, motivated, and passionate about content creation.
- Pays attention to detail and has great time management and project prioritization skills.
- Can work well independently and with a team.
Other Qualities that are preferred, but not required:
- Basic knowledge of motion design
- Experience with video/photo editing
- Has print production experience
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
