Public Relations Spring 2023 Internship

Qualifications

Self-motivation, good organizational skills, detail-orientation, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong writing abilities: able to write clear and persuasive copy, quickly
Ability to work with a team to meet group objectives
Ability to communicate in a professional manner with the press and community contacts
Demonstrated interest in news, politics and current events
Excellent computer skills including Google Suite products, Word, PowerPoint and Excel









Responsibilities

Interns will be assigned to work on a specific team and may collaborate with other divisions and teams as needed
Interns will be asked to focus on a range of projects, including longer-term and day-to-day/immediate tasks assigned by their team and will learn the basics of high-level communications strategizing, writing, pitching, and advocacy
Learn the basics of high-level communications strategy and media relations
Draft daily reports, build press lists, gather media clips, do media analyses and research projects, pitch reporters and copy-edit
Assist with a variety of communications- and team-related assignments and tasks as necessary

Please note this is an unpaid internship but we will sponsor for college credit

We expect no less than 2 full days a week for the duration of the Spring.

Berko & Associates and its sister private equity arm , Astor Realty Capital are multidisciplinary commercial real estate firms advising public and private companies on lucrative real estate investment opportunities. Astor specializes in direct short-term capital for commercial real estate opportunities in major US markets. We have physical offices in Manhattan, NY & Miami, Florida.










Berko/Astor is currently looking to recruit interns for the Spring 2023 semester.
