Structural Engineer
O&S Associates, Inc. is a full-service Engineering and Architectural Design firm that is recognized for expertise in building restoration and rehabilitation. We are seeking Structural Engineers to join our offices in New York City, New Jersey, DC, Philadelphia, Fort Lauderdale, and Columbus for exciting opportunities designing and restoring buildings and structures.
Our firm works in many settings including low-rise and high-rise residential buildings, office complexes, retail locations, warehouses, parking garages, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and government buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform field condition assessments of existing conditions
- Interface with clients/owners and contractors
- Provide Structural Engineering Designs for complex building problems
- Provide consulting services to meet our clients needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Engineering
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with multiple deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Conversant in engineering, architectural, and construction principles
- Must be comfortable safely performing inspections on roofs, facades, and structures via suspending scaffolds, ladders, aerial manlifts, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and AutoCAD
