Intern, Servo Integration Engineering (Summer 2023)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Developing visualization scripts in MATLAB and Python to analysis HDD servo parameters, handling various HDD QA log analysis projects using MATLAB, SQL.
  • Creating test scripts in MATLAB and/or Python to perform mechanical characterization of HDD over temperature and under chassis vibration.
  • Participating in first level failure root cause analysis (FA) activities and QA log review, generating follow up reports, and providing solution if applicable


Qualifications


REQUIRED:
  • Experienced with electromagnetic actuators, linear system dynamics and embedded Firmware development.
  • Excellent working knowledge with MATLAB/Python, data visualization, data processing and database query languages such as MySQL.
  • Embedded firmware programing skills in C/C++, Experienced with code repository managements such as SVN, Garret/GIT.

Desired field of Education:
  • Seeking a Master's or PhD level degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering with a graduation date between December 2023-June 2024
