Job Description
Job Summary:
The CareSource Summer Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. This is a hybrid program - working in the Dayton Headquarters the first, middle, and last week of the program, and working remote the remainder. (Travel and lodging provided)
Essential Functions:
- Helps out across multiple business functions such as business, finance, accounting, operations, IT, data analysis, marketing, clinical
- Working with leaders to gain real life experience in various roles
- Completing various activities on a daily basis, handling daily responsibilities across departments
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Current college student enrolled/university undergraduate in an accredited degree program
- Minimum of 2.5 cumulative grade point average
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Effective listening and critical thinking skills
- Dependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential information
- Effective problem solving skills with attention to detail
