Landscape Architect-Intern

We are seeking fun, creative individual to join the Upland Design team for a summer or year-long

internship. You will be exposed to various levels of the concept design, public meetings, and construction document development. Candidates should be open,

energetic and willing to assist project managers to create engaging designs working collaboratively with the design team.

Internships are available at the Plainfield and Chicago offices! A great benefit of interning at Upland Design is the direct interaction with Firm Principals and licensed Landscape Architects. Project reviews and one on one meeting are part of the Upland philosophy.

The ideal candidate(s) will meet the following requirements:

• Seeking candidate working toward a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture

• Demonstrated knowledge of the design process

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite

• Basic Midwest plant knowledge

• An interest in how things are constructed

• Ability to take initiative and resolve problems

• AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite

• Basic Midwest plant knowledge

• Valid driver’s license

• Previous office experience is a plus
