Kratos has a position for a entry level Hardware Design Engineer 
As a HW Design Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to develop our complex products and technologies related to wireless telecommunications by applying RF and mixed signal capabilities. You will work as part of a hardware design team with other engineers. You'll be responsible for PCB/PCA circuit design and sustainment, embedded system design, and firmware design. Your technical responsibilities also include developing and executing our product characterization testing and integration planning.
Designs, develops, integrates and tests hardware and electronic components to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific and requirements. Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support hardware systems from the board level to system level. 
 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform detailed design of test control apparatus and equipment
  • Develop schematics and drawings to support fabrication
  • Research, design, develop and test electronic components, products and systems
  • Qualify and test developed hardware, test plans and procedures, and test systems
  • Consult with software engineers for hardware and software integration

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field
A minimum of 0 years of experience
Basic MS Office experience
Hardware design and development of embedded microprocessor systems experience preferred
Military standards experience preferred
 
Competitive salary based on experience and education 80K-110k
