DIGITAL CONTENT INTERN

Job Description
 
We are looking for a Digital Content intern to work with us to create and develop content for our website and social media accounts (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Utube, and TikTok). The ideal candidate will have intermediate experience in photoshoots, videos and editing for social media platforms. You will be an integral member of our social media team working closely with our public relations, photography, videography, and operations interns.
 
The goal is to help us reach our target audience of players, fans and coaches by delivering both useful and interesting on-line information about our sports events. The youth sports industry is the fastest growing industry in the world. This is an exciting time to join Seminole Sports. You will be exposed to and gain experience in marketing, content creation, and social media management.
 
Digital Content:
Create relevant and interesting social media posts
Work closely with Photography/Video and other members of the social media team
Write social media captions that speak to the teams target audience
Create and adhere to a social media calendar
Collaborate with marketing to develop new strategies for tournament t-shirt sales

Digital Content Requirements:
Must have a strong working knowledge of all social media platforms
Track record of high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
Ability to track and analyze analytics to measure our social media effectiveness
Ensure the Seminole Sports brand message is consistent
Willingness to continuously suggest and discuss social media communications improvements
Attention to detail, analytical mind, ability to detect errors easily

Particulars:
  • The program starts in May and runs through the end of July
  • Over this period, you will be expected to work at least 200 hours
  • An average of 20 hours per week on Friday, Saturday or Sunday
  • We provide a clear description of each learning module
  • You will gain insight into a youth sports organization’s culture, its value to young athletes and benefits to the community
  • This is a real work experience for you which provides meaningful assistance to our company
  • It will assist the intern to develop and achieve learning goals
  • We provide you a mentor that offers regular feedback to you
  • You will establish a network of other interns and professionals that can help you make well-informed decisions about your career and connect you with career opportunities
  • This experience will provide you with a portfolio of work that you can submit to your university for college credit

Pay periods are the 1st and 15th of each month. End of year bonuses will be paid based on merit.
