Internship
Please Note: This is an unpaid internship for college credit and is part of a training program. This internship is located in Miami, Florida.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in the field of luxury public relations. You should be a dedicated, multi-tasked, and proactive candidate who is enthusiastic, works well within a small team and has an interest in luxury PR. Previous experience is preferred and understanding of the industry is vital. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Instructive responsibilities may include:
• Proactively monitoring all media, print, digital and social channels for brand coverage and competitor activity, scanning relevant articles for distribution around the team.
• Analyze outcomes and create reports summarizing results
• Identify and track emerging trends, initiatives, and vendors in the digital space and develop relevant client applications
• Understanding and monitoring media landscape across digital, print and broadcast
• Facilitate the smooth running of the day-to-day function of each account team providing support as requested and required
• Responsible for managing product deliveries/placements/press bookings in a timely manner
• Handle product and image call-ins, and compile and manage media list, event rsvp list, organizing image/artwork.
• Manage the master media database and internal team databases and ensure it is kept up to date and accurate
• Learning how to draft pitches and story angles in a proficient and effective approach Requirements:
• Ideal candidates are available two or three full days a week during their duration of internship. This will be a onsite role, unfortunately there is no remote possibility at this time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
• Knowledge in software (Launch Metrics/Cision is a plus but not required)
• Detail Oriented
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Understanding of the industry or eagerness and dedication to learn more about the industry is essential.
