AKA Studio is growing rapidly and is currently seeking Architectural Designers from entry-level to 8 years of experience to assist with developing mixed-use retail, hospitality, residential and commercial projects. In this role, the right candidate will assist with preparing architectural presentations, construction drawings, and documents. 3D rendering experience is a plus.
 
The Architectural Designer will be part of a project team and will assist in maintaining the project documents, along with the needs of the client from the beginning of the project, through design, until the end of construction. This position is ideal for candidates interested in obtaining licensure due to its hands-on nature and involvement in all phases of assigned projects.
 
Responsibilities
·                    Produce architectural drawings and generate drawing revisions/corrections from redlines.
·                    Assist in coordinating with engineering consultants and coordinating documents with Civil, MEP, and Structural drawings.
·                    Attend client meetings and communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development
 
Position Qualifications
·                    Bachelor's degree in architecture or associated discipline
·                    0-8 years of experience
·                    Experienced in using AutoCAD and Revit
·                    3D rendering experience is a plus
·                    Knowledge of the design process, building codes, building materials, and construction techniques
·                    Ability to problem solve individually and collaboratively
·                    This is an in-office position.
