Network Administrator
Vernis & Bowling, PA an AV rated national Insurance Defense Firm seeks a full-time network administrator. This position is a fundamental part of our team, as they perform vital duties to ensure that the office runs smoothly, and its professionals are supported.
The network administrator is responsible for network stability, wireless network services, cyber-security, installing network hardware and software, support local and remote users, backups, configuring switches and maintaining network documentation.
Requirements:
5 or more years’ experience as a network administrator.
Experience with VMWare, Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Applications.
Experience with network monitoring tools.
Ability to work in a multi-task work environment.
Attention to detail.
Technical understanding of LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls and cyber-security.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Responsibilities:
Manage network hardware and software.
Manage Office 365 tenant.
Perform and monitor system backups.
Investigating, recommending and installing software and hardware enhancements.
Microsoft Windows Server operating systems administration.
Maintaining and documenting operating procedures, network changes and network layouts.
Provide level 2 tech support.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
