Mechanical Engineering CO-OP (Fall 23)

Co-Op are cycled, full time opportunities for engineering students who are currently enrolled in a four-year college/university. 

Job Summary/Objective:
The mechanical engineer will take a project from the conceptual stage through completion, factoring in budgetary and operational considerations. Performs initial and ongoing design reviews. Identifies process deficiencies and develops solutions to improve. Works with Sales and Operations to
develop new prototypes; heavily involved in the quoting process of potential orders/inquiries.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Work together with maintenance technicians to solve repetitive issues on machines
  • Spend time on the manufacturing floor to evaluate repetitive issues on machines
  • Work with mechanical engineers to develop solutions
  • Use CAD tools to develop drawings for solutions

Required Education and Experience:
  • Ability to work 40-hour work weeks during rotation 
  • Willingness and ability to commit to a minimum of 3 rotations
  • Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum GPA 2.5
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
