Art Instructor

Budding Artists Miami is hiring part time art Instructors for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year. Instructors will have a set schedule for the school year where they will travel to different Elm. schools weekly to deliver an after school art class. This job is perfect for college students in the arts or in education getting their teaching certification.

-Hours are VERY part time. Two daily classes: Monday-Friday 1:45-3:00pm. Following another class from 3:00-4:30 pm.

-Must be able to pass a background check (and get fingerprinted) to work in public and private schools.

-Must be reliable and punctual.

-Must be energetic and love children!

- Instructor will start off as an assistant to a senior instructor and eventually teach their own classes (with assistance).

-All lesson plans and supplies will be provided to instructors, with room for creative freedom.

-A Basic level of artistic talent and creativity required, but classroom management skills are a must! Class size vary from 5-20 kids.

-Instructors should be familiar with the following mediums: pencil and paper, sharpies, markers, crayons, colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolors, and acrylics. (Some airdry clay and some crafts depending on school's accommodations)

-Ability to teach digital art is a huge plus!
