Business Solutions Consultant

As a Business Solutions Consultant (BSC) at FOCUS Broadband, you will be part of strategic business initiatives as we grow into new territories while continuing to provide our existing customers the same customer service that our team is known for. You will redefine business customers’ expectations by communicating, educating, and upselling new services as technology evolves to fulfill businesses’ needs and enhance their experience. The BSC will cultivate leads from business clients within specified territories. Services include business class broadband, hosted voice services, cloud data solutions, business broadband, business video service, business networking solutions, and more. The BSC will establish leads by educating local business owners on the innovative business solutions that FOCUS Broadband has to offer. This will involve creating leads, developing relationships, and bringing technology solutions to the forefront of the businesses we serve.

Requirements:

·        Achieve sales and revenue quotas through the sale of FOCUS Broadband Business services. Strong negotiation, listening, and presentation skills are required. Must be an effective closer in sales interactions.

·        Develop and implement a cold calling strategy targeting serviceable and potentially serviceable business prospects; cold calls every non-subscribing business within assigned territory a minimum of two times each year.

·        Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within assigned territories. Communicate the status of any problem/repair issues with customers and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. In-depth knowledge of FOCUS Broadband business services and equipment, pricing, and billing is required.

·        Design, develop, and present sales proposals and presentations on product benefits.

·        Qualify new leads and request site surveys to determine prospects' serviceability, including submitting ROI analysis to sales management.

·        Demonstrating values of being helpful, cooperative, trustworthy, responsive, and resourceful.

·        Working knowledge of computer networking, LAN and WAN technologies, high-capacity and fiber-connected networks required. Other certifications may be required as necessary to stay current with essential job knowledge.

 

·        Travel through the FOCUS Broadband service areas is required. FOCUS Broadband's service areas include but are not limited to the following counties: Brunswick, Columbus, Robeson, Duplin, Pender, Bladen, Scotland, Hoke, Chowan, and Perquimans.

·        A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
