Architectural Designer

Duties:

 

Initiate and design in coordination with team and client requirements, specifications, and goals.

 

Capable of communicating design ideas through the use of sketches and computer design tools (such as 3D modeling, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion and Enscape).

 

Works with the Principal and/or Project Manager to prepare presentations, design and produce documents through to the construction documents phase.

 

Coordinates and maintains project files including correspondence, drawings, and other relevant materials associated with the projects. 

 

Assists during the construction administration phase in the review and processing of shop drawings and materials submittals in alignment with design goals.

 

Knowledge of design and construction methods.

 

Basic understanding of zoning and building codes.

 

Strong design and graphic skills.

 

Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail and highly organized.

 

Minimum Bachelor’s in Architecture.

 

1 to 4 years’ experience.
