Junior Engineer - Full-Time

Junior Engineer Job Description  
 
A Junior Engineer provides general, entry-level support to the engineering department, such as electronics assembly, product development, technical support, and coordination with electrical contractors. Their duties include verifying and testing assigned metrics on projects, entering test results into a quality control database, identifying potential areas of product improvement, and recommending and assisting with the development of appropriate solutions.
 
Responsibilities of a Junior Engineer
·      Creates and edits technical documentation, such as assembly manuals, engineering enhancement reports, factory acceptance test (FAT) reports, etc.
·      Integrates, commissions, and provisions systems
·      Builds products, such as computers, electronic control devices, and sensors.
·      Modifies/replaces components on printed circuit board assemblies.
·      Performs manual assembly during the small-scale production of electronic devices: setting up electronic systems; installing components, units, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings; fabricating and adhering glass to digital signage using rivets, screws, bolts, or micro-welding equipment
·      Packages finished product and other components
·      Helps organize logistics for product deployment.

Working hours: 8:15 AM - 4:45 PM, Monday thru Friday, Part-time and/or Full-time

Skills & Experiences:
·      Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
·      Able to use tools, such as power drills, screwdrivers, and other warehouse equipment.
·      Able to incorporate IT principles, standards, and processes related to digital media & signage.
 
Educational Background: Electrical Contracting, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Architecture  
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
·      Can use hands and fingers to operate computers and tools for average of 4 hours a day.
·      Exposed to typical office environment conditions and industrial building noise levels.
