Global Markets- Office of Strategy & Engagement


Do you want to help senior management make informed decisions, advocate for U.S. companies, and solve organizational problems for more than 1,300 staff across the U.S. and around the world?

The Office of Strategy & Engagement (OSE) sit within ITA's Global Market and operates as an internal consultancy/think tank for the organization. It facilitates strategic planning, stakeholder relations, marketing, digital engagement, business intelligence, process improvement / change management, and customer experience.



Each project and assignment solve real business challenges with outlined deliverables and milestones. Topics include:

  • Congressional Engagement,
  • Data analysis and visualization,
  • Evaluate customer feedback and provide recommendations,
  • Support staff with project management,
  • Develop and implement social media strategies,
  • Write social media posts,
  • Create engaging marketing materials and images for internal and external stakeholders,
  • Update web content,
  • Provide input on digital content and content marketing,
  • Conduct research on international trade trends, stakeholders, social media trends.



What we need:

The most important qualities required include an appetite for learning, can-do attitude, creativity, personal motivation, resourcefulness, initiative, professionalism, excellent communication, and collaboration skills, experience with Microsoft Excel. All majors are welcome to apply.

Though the internship is unpaid, the valuable experience gained during the program will benefit your future federal and business consulting careers. This position will be remote (i.e. teleworking from home), and will not be required to work in Washington, DC.

Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizen,
  • Ideally available 40 hours/wk during the summer starting June 2023,
  • Currently enrolled student at least half-time pursuing a bachelors or graduate degree during the entire duration of the internship.
