Zyscovich Architects is in search of an Interior Design Intern to add to its highly innovative team. The right candidate will have 1+ years of experience in an office environment. The ideal candidate would be able to both take direction as well as work independently as needed. They will also need to be a team player and take responsibility for work assigned. Architectural students are encouraged to apply!
Job Description:
· Hands-on learning and collaboration with designers, architects, and managers to plan, design, develop and gain real-world experience.
· Enjoy the rich culture of our office and firm by experiencing educational sessions and mentorship opportunities that include lunch-and-learns, lectures, project tours and vendor presentations.
· Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings and technical drawings.
Your Qualifications:
· You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design
· Strong design, computer, technical and graphic skills
· 3-D computer rendering skills (Revit, V-ray, Sketch Up, , and/or other modeling software)
· Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook
· Hand sketching and physical modelling ability a plus
· Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and highly organized
