Summer Intern/Communications

Department Description
This position sits in the Projects and Digital Sciences department, working on the digital transformation of GSK’s chemistry, manufacturing, and controls area, spanning R&D and manufacturing in both pharma and vaccines. This role will work closely with the Digital Transformation team who are working to support the acceleration ambitions of delivering GSK’s medicines and vaccines.

Job Description
On our internship programme you’ll receive tailored on-the-job training from industry experts combined with early responsibility to help you to develop and progress.

Your duties might include:

Support the communication of internal event (CMC DDA Roadshows).
Facilitate the flow of information within the CMC Digital Transformation team and R&D, Tech, Global Supply Chain Departments
Promote two-way, open and honest communication.
Inform the department on a daily/weekly basis via the various communication channels.
Writing of the newsletter & production of posters, brochures. Boost internal communication.
Strong collaboration with CMC Digital Transformation team

Minimum Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, or similar disciplines.
Must be able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) throughout the duration of the assignment.
Must have an active student status and/or within 12 months post-graduation from a BS or MS degree program. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.

Preferred Qualifications
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Experience in creating social media content - posts, video editing and graphic design.
Responsible, inquisitive and creative mindset.

Eligibility Requirements
Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check prior to assignment target start date.
Must provide your own funding for relocation and commuting.

Candidates who are hired for an on-site role and reside outside of 50-miles from their assigned work location are eligible for relocation stipend.
