Reading Pianist for Summer Cruise Ship Work in Alaska: May 11 to July 14

Suman Entertainment Group has an opening for a strong sight-reading pianist on an ultra-luxury cruise ship sailing Alaska and based in Vancouver from May 11 to July 14, 2023. Very competitive salary, free travel, room, and all meals provided. Must be strong reader and knowledgeable in pop, theater, Latin and jazz styles. Must be at least 21, able to work in the US or get a US visa, pass a medical exam, and have a valid passport. This is a great opportunity for college students on summer break or those just graduating.

Pianist will perform as part of a six-piece house band playing in production shows with a cast of dancers and singers, backing up headliner acts, and playing party band sets. Expect to perform 3 to 4 sets a night. This is a crew position so musician will also have standard cruise ship crew safety duties and one to two hours a week of non-musical activity duties.
