Local Video/Audio Buyer

The Local Video/Audio Buyer will lead the negotiation and investment of media for assigned key accounts. With the guidance of the Local Video/Audio Supervisor, this person will execute buys that adhere to the clients’ media objectives and strategies.

About the role:
  • Manage the execution and negotiation of the media buys across TV and radio (cable and streaming secondary).
  • Provide media POVs on local broadcast topics to clients and account teams as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date on media news through media trade publications and related sources.
  • Effectively communicate and negotiate with key partners.
  • Partner with appropriate vendor counterparts to think expansively and creatively about problems and identify practical solutions.
  • Act as an SME for various markets, industry formats, and trends.


About you:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a media buying environment.
  • Comfortable working in Spectra OX; knowledge of Nielsen Answers and/or Prisma.
  • Able to work effectively in an integrated environment and maintain professional relationships with clients and other third-party partners.
  • Able to negotiate media buys.
  • Proven team player.
