Jr. Graphic Designer Internship

About the team:
You’ll join the creative, fun and fast-paced Internal Creative Agency within the Marketing department. We’re a strong team that works together to produce a variety of digital tactics that market our innovative online courses to students across the country. Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll collaborate with your amazing teammates on marketing design work.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver image assets for web, email, paid marketing, blog, social, and other digital communication channels
  • Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printed materials
  • Provide image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation
  • Prepare images for online and mobile applications, adapting imagery as needed across responsive breakpoints
  • Build and maintain working files inside a collaborative file structure, maintaining strict adherence to file nomenclature
  • Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time 
Requirements
  •  This position is intended for Graphic Design students
  •  Undergraduates or graduates are welcome to apply
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required, especially Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign
  • Must be willing to work within teams in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude is a must
  • Please provide a portfolio of graphic design work. Both student work and professional work are acceptable.
  • Please provide a cover letter and contact information of 3 professional references. References will only be contacted for finalists.
  • Full vaccination – as defined by the CDC – is required

Successful Interns will:
  • Have good attendance and communicate regularly with their supervisor and team
  • Participate in the internship program activities like Resume and Interview Skills workshops and job shadowing opportunities
  • Conduct a final presentation to the Everspring leadership team that showcases their accomplishments
Location of internship: 
120 S LaSalle in the Chicago Loop.

Duration of Internship:
Start: June 5, 2023
End: July 28, 2023

Expected Workday:
Mutually agreed upon hours, with a maximum of 24 hours per week. Monday - Friday 

Compensation:
This is a paid internship program. Hourly rate based upon market.
