HC Brands is seeking add a Social Media Marketing Specialist with proven skills to help lead social marketing strategy and implementation across our family of brands. We are looking for someone that is passionate about their marketing career and measures their success by driving results through customer engagement, traffic and sales. In this role you will generate strategy-driven content (both organic posts and ads) that engage customers, increase sales, and maximize lifetime value. You will stay up to date with social marketing best practices, measure the effectiveness of campaigns and report on performance.
Essential Functions:
- Manage marketing strategy across various social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
- Execute and manage a high volume of posts across Facebook, Instagram, and other social channels
- Research influencers on various social media platforms and make connections to promote our products and brands
- Navigate Facebook Business Manager to plan, build, launch, and optimize paid social campaigns across brands
- Monitor, report, and track social performance metrics & share with key stakeholders and make recommendations for improved performance
- Ensure pixels and technical integrations are set up properly to track high-quality data
- Evaluate new opportunities to evolve the social program and ensure that it is best-in-class
- Fully understand the brand voice, mission, and vision statement of each of our brands
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a similar field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 years as a social marketing specialist or similar role; 1 – 3 years’ experience preferred
- Experience working in eCommerce, ideally having been directly involved in running social campaigns for 1 or more eCommerce websites
- Experience with scheduling software such as Loomly or Hootsuite
- Experience setting up and integrating Instagram shops
- In-depth understanding of current social marketing strategies/tactics and platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn)
- Knowledge of Facebook Advanced Matching setup and best practices
- Experience collaborating with influencers and establishing mutually beneficial arrangements
- Well-organized and detail oriented
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to analyze data from a wide variety of sources (Meta Pixel, Facebook Conversions API, Google Analytics, 1st party data, etc.)
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with Photoshop or Canva
- Results-driven focus partnered with a creative mind
- Be confident in the use of standard Microsoft Office products (including Microsoft Teams) to track data, share information and present ideas
- Be comfortable working in a start-up, fast-paced environment, where responsibilities can change
- Positive attitude and collaboration mindset
- Flexible and open to constructive feedback
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
