PAID INTERNSHIP| MARKETING & CONTENT CREATOR INTERN [CHICAGO LATINO THEATER ALLIANCE]
The intern will gain hands-on experience in creating and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy for a large-scale event. They will learn about the importance of branding, messaging, and audience targeting in marketing campaigns. The intern will also gain valuable experience in project management and working with a team to achieve shared goals.
Intern Responsibilities:
- The Marketing/Content Creator Intern will be responsible for assisting the Director of Communications create a multi-pronged marketing schedule/campaign for DESTINOS: Chicago International Latino Theater Festival.
- This will include creating engaging content for social media platforms, writing press releases and creating marketing materials, and designing
- promotional campaigns.
- The intern will work closely with the festival organizers and other marketing team members to ensure that the marketing strategy is in line with the festival's goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute a social media strategy to promote all festival productions, including creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Create promotional campaigns to attract potential festival attendees, such as giveaways or special discounts.
- Assist in managing the festival's website, including updating event information and optimizing content for SEO.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
- Knowledge of basic graphic design principles and experience using design software.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics.
- Spanish Fluency.
INTERNS WILL WORK ONSITE 28 HOURS PER WEEK AND ATTEND A MANDATORY OFFSITE PROGRAM DAY ONE DAY PER WEEK WITH THEIR COHORT.
INTERNS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE DURATION OF THE PROGRAM.
INTERNSHIP DURATION:
- Total Weeks: 9 weeks
- Work Hours per Week: 28
- Total Hours: 252
- Workdays: 4 days per week onsite
PROGRAM DAY:
- On the 5th day of each week, interns will attend an offsite program day with their cohort.
- These hours are separate from the internship hours.
