Maintenance Operations Internship

Coastal Maintenance Operations Internship (3-6 months) 
Start Date: June 2023
Location: Napa, CA
 
Join our Coastal Maintenance Internship Program! Work alongside our Maintenance Technicians and Team Leads, gaining hands-on experience in the production, distribution, and packaging of our nationally recognized super-premium and luxury wine brands. As an intern, you'll assist our Coastal Maintenance team in equipment readiness, preventative maintenance, and problem-solving at our Napa wineries. Apply now for 3-6 month positions.
 
What You Will Do
  • Troubleshoot machinery, replace and repair defective parts
  • Develop facility maintenance skills to aid in preventative maintenance practices
  • Enhance winery environmental performance by learning about utilities, wastewater generation, water consumption, and more
  • Communicates, discusses, and shares information about equipment observations with other maintenance team members and team leads
  • Works on assigned projects
 
What You Need
  • Currently enrolled at a college or university working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Required to lift and move up to 50 lbs
  • Required to climb fixed stairs with handrails and vertical ladders with hoop cages up to a height of 45 feet
  • Requires availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, up to 12 hours per day, when necessary
 
Compensation
  • Hiring set rate listed as $22.50 - $22.50
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

What Will Set You Apart
  • Junior or Senior class standing at a college or university working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Strong analytical problem-solver, process focused and leadership skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and skilled in managing multiple assignments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access), to include data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
