Social Media Specialist (Rip It Energy Fuel)

JOB OVERVIEW:
The Social Media Specialist will serve as a key member of our marketing team. This role champions initiatives that will interface with the brand managers and external partners to create an overall social media strategy for Rip It Energy. This position is also responsible for establishing and maintaining the essence of our products and ensuring all content is leveraged effectively across various social media outlets.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work with brand teams to develop social media content calendars to ensure that all content and platforms are relevant and up to date.
· Responsible for the daily development and delivery of social media content across social media channels including, but not limited to, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube.
· Monitor, analyze and report on social media and provide recommendations.
· Guide digital projects with regards to best practices across web production, design, user experience and SEO.
· Implement and oversee content and functionality updates for both the external website and intranet.
· Ensure consistent branding and design across all digital assets (e.g., images, messaging, and layouts).
· Coordinate projects with marketing team and digital venders to provide direction and guidance to developers, designers and database teams to efficiently execute digital projects.
· Work collaboratively with marketing to digitally support various programs such as new product/flavor launches & announcements, events, retailer promotions, etc. 
· Conduct ongoing competitive analysis of other sites, including technology and function analysis and determine strategies
· Implement proactive strategies to capture customer online reviews, monitor the ratings and responds accordingly.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing or relevant field preferred or equivalent experience.
· 3 years of experience with web/social/digital marketing communications.
· Social Media Platforms, Publishing, Monitoring & Measurement Tools.
· Working knowledge of basic CSS, HTML and image/video conversions (e.g., PDFs, jpg, avi, animated gifs), content publishing (hootsuite & directly on social media platforms), web publishing applications (WYSIWYG editor, Shortstack, Dreamweaver), content management systems (Wordpress), web analytic programs (Google Analytics), and email service providers (Mailchimp).  Adobe creative suite is a plus.
· Self-motivated and able to manage multiple initiatives and priorities within specified timeframes.
· Ability to exhibit and employ creative problem solving and negotiation skills.
· Excellent oral and written communications skills.
·Strong project management skills.
·Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
