UXUI Experience Design
JOB SUMMARY: Collaborate with a cross functional team focused on defining user experiences across Universal Orlando Resort websites and identifying opportunities to enhance customer engagement by executing an elegant and seamless experience. Intern will gain a combined knowledge of UXUI design and use of our Global Design System, and leverage it to transform web pages into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solves visual and interaction design problems by applying user-centered methods.
- Incorporates existing foundations of Universal Orlando Resort Global Design System to create the desired experience.
- Assists team in a fast-paced environment and receives iterative feedback.
- Designs and implements UX/UI solutions based on business-defined requirements.
- Supports documentation and archiving needs.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Email Development, Digital Technical Production
JOB SUMMARY: Intern will support the email development team within the Digital Technical Production department by building, testing, and deploying HTML emails. Intern will gain an understanding of the HTML email process and how it plays a role in marketing communication.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Builds, tests, and deploys emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud for the email development team.
- Troubleshoots issues within email development.
- Attends meetings with team, including weekly status meetings.
- Assists with updating standard operating procedure documentation.
- Performs duties within project management software, Workfront.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Digital Content Production
JOB SUMMARY: This role is to support the digital content production team. The intern will be immersed in different campaigns, where they will get to work with various content management tools to update large-scale websites and our mobile app. The intern will manage all projects through our content management tool (WorkFront) making sure all tasks are done in a timely manner. They will also assist in updating our procedure documentation. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams in various projects, attend scrum meetings and get immersed in all things Universal.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Updates diverse content for our websites and mobile app using enterprise tools such as Tridion Sites CMS.
- Manages all their projects using WorkFront to complete tasks on a timely manner.
- Updates standard operating procedure documentation.
- Joins diverse scrum meetings and learn to collaborate with different teams.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- An official transcript may be required upon request.
- Preferred majors include: Digital Media, Graphic Design, Web Design.
EXPERIENCE: Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Preferable skills for success in role include but not limited to:
- High Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, In-Vision, and Abstract preferred.
- Skills in presenting design solutions to peers preferred.
- Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Superior written & verbal communication skills.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
- Consistent attendance.

- This internship will be an hybrid experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2023.
