$69,391.62 - $89,074.98        
 
Are you a motivated, positive, service-driven individual? If so, we need to talk. We are looking for someone to direct and administer the overall Emergency Management Agency, Hazardous Material Program and the 9 11 Communication Center, and to coordinate public safety activities and programs within the County.  The Director position is a key stakeholder in the emergency services continuum and is required to perform mid to upper-level analysis including the ability to coordinate, strategize, systemize, and correlate, using discretion in determining time, place, and/or sequence of operations within an organizational framework. This position will implement decisions based on such data, and oversee the execution of these decisions. Lastly, it will guide the County’s ability to prepare for, prevent, respond and recover from any natural or manmade disaster or emergency.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Community Planning, Communications or Technology, Public or Business Administration or other related field; computer and telecommunications skills required. Minimum of five (5) years working experience in the field of public safety; a minimum of three (3) years supervisory and management experience; or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
