Spring 2024 Guidance, Navigation & Controls Intern - Graduate

Internship: Guidance, Navigation, and Control

Interns work directly with our experienced engineers in support of our business units. The internship is 15 weeks and begins January 8.

Internship Project Focus:
Projects may involve all aspects of GNC engineering including guidance, navigation, controls, autonomy, avionics, simulation, system test, aero sciences, and systems engineering. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.
This application is for graduate level students.
Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program and have at least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
  • Available to work full time for a minimum of 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Desired:
  • Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.
  • Hands-on project experience.
  • Experience with MATLAB or Simulink
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Passion for space.
